Why a soft, tactile interface still works in 2026
Neomorphism fell out of fashion when it was used everywhere at once — but used sparingly, on a considered palette, it still reads as calm, premium, and distinct from the flat-and-bold default most templates reach for. This page exists to prove the style holds up as a full, working one-page build, not just a single hero mockup.
What actually makes it work
Soft UI depends on restraint: one background hue, shadows that are barely-there until you look for them, and enough padding that every raised surface has room to read as raised. Push any one of those too far and the whole effect collapses into either mud or noise.
